Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order. By using our website or placing an order with us, you agree to these terms together with any other policies expressly referred to within them.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects or restricts any statutory rights you have as a consumer under applicable United Kingdom law.

2. About These Terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made by consumers through stalderandreid.com.
Separate policies may provide additional information about particular aspects of your purchase, including:
- our Returns & Refund Policy;
- our Delivery Policy;
- our Warranty Policy;
- our Privacy Policy; and
- our Cookie Policy.
Where another policy applies to a particular aspect of your transaction, that policy forms part of the information provided to you in connection with your purchase.
3. Eligibility to Place an Order
By placing an order with Stalder & Reid, you confirm that you have legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
You must provide accurate, complete and current information when placing an order, including your name, billing information, delivery address and contact details.
You are responsible for checking that all information supplied to us is correct before submitting your order.
4. Products
Stalder & Reid is a multi-brand retailer offering watches from established watch brands.
All watches sold by Stalder & Reid are brand new and authentic.
Stalder & Reid is authorised to retail the watch brands offered on our website.
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, references, prices and availability information shown on our website are accurate.
Product specifications may vary between models and references. You should review the information shown on the relevant product page before placing an order.
Where dimensions, movement type, materials, water resistance, functions or other technical specifications are provided, they relate to the particular product or reference shown.
5. Product Images and Colours
We make reasonable efforts to display watches and their colours as accurately as possible.
However, the appearance of colours may vary slightly depending on your device, display settings, lighting and screen calibration.
Images may sometimes be used for illustrative or editorial purposes. The product title, manufacturer reference and specifications shown on the relevant product page should be used to identify the watch being purchased.
6. Availability
Product availability is displayed on the website and may change as orders are placed or inventory is updated.
If a product is marked Sold Out, it is not currently available to order.
In rare circumstances, including simultaneous purchases or an inventory discrepancy, an item shown as available may become unavailable after an order has been submitted.
If we are unable to fulfil your order, Stalder & Reid Client Services will contact you promptly. Where we cannot supply the product, any amount paid for the unavailable item will be refunded to the original payment method.
7. Prices
Prices displayed on stalderandreid.com are shown in Pounds Sterling (GBP) for the United Kingdom market.
The price applicable to your order is the price displayed and confirmed during checkout when you place the order, subject to correction of obvious errors as described below.
Any applicable delivery charge will be clearly displayed before you complete your order.
Where a previous price, promotional price or price reduction is shown, it will be used only where the relevant pricing history supports that representation.
8. Pricing Errors
Despite our reasonable efforts, a product may occasionally be listed with an incorrect price because of a technical, administrative or supplier-data error.
If we identify an obvious pricing error before accepting or dispatching an order, we may contact you and give you the opportunity to purchase the product at the correct price or cancel the affected item.
We will not charge a higher price without your agreement.
If an affected order is cancelled after payment has been taken, the amount paid for the cancelled item will be refunded to the original payment method.
9. Promotions and Discount Codes
From time to time, Stalder & Reid may offer genuine promotional prices, offers or discount codes.
Promotions may be subject to:
- specified start and end dates;
- eligible products or collections;
- minimum order values where clearly stated;
- single-use or customer-specific restrictions;
- stock availability; and
- other conditions clearly communicated with the promotion.
Expired promotional codes cannot normally be applied retrospectively to orders already placed.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash.
Nothing in a promotional offer limits your statutory consumer rights.
10. Placing an Order
You may place an order by following the checkout process on stalderandreid.com.
Before submitting your order, you will have the opportunity to review key information including:
- the products selected;
- quantities;
- prices;
- delivery method;
- applicable delivery charges;
- delivery address; and
- the total amount payable.
Please check this information carefully before completing payment.
11. Order Confirmation and Contract Formation
After you submit an order, we will normally send an automated order confirmation to the email address you provided.
This confirmation acknowledges that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted for fulfilment.
Your order constitutes an offer to purchase the products listed in your order.
A contract for the purchase of a product is formed when we accept your order by dispatching the relevant product and sending you confirmation that it has been dispatched.
If your order contains more than one product and they are dispatched separately, a separate contract may arise for each product when that product is dispatched.
Your statutory cancellation rights are not affected by this section.
12. When We May Decline or Cancel an Order
We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch where reasonably necessary, including where:
- a product is unavailable;
- payment cannot be authorised;
- the billing or delivery information cannot be verified;
- we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised payment activity;
- an obvious pricing or product-data error has occurred;
- delivery to the address supplied is not reasonably possible;
- the order breaches an applicable promotion condition;
- the order appears to have been placed unlawfully or fraudulently; or
- we are legally prohibited from completing the transaction.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the applicable amount to the original payment method.
13. Payment
We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.
Available payment methods may vary depending on the payment provider, order value or other legitimate transaction requirements.
Payment information is processed through secure payment providers available through our checkout.
By submitting payment, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method supplied.
We may carry out or permit payment providers to carry out reasonable fraud-prevention, payment-security and address-verification checks.
14. Order Verification
Most orders are prepared for dispatch following payment and address verification.
Some orders may require additional verification for fraud prevention, payment security or customer protection.
If additional information is reasonably required to verify an order, Stalder & Reid Client Services may contact you.
We will never ask you to send full payment-card details to us by email.
15. Dispatch
Most orders are dispatched within 24–48 hours following payment and address verification.
Orders requiring additional verification may take longer to process.
Orders placed during UK public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
Dispatch and delivery times may occasionally be affected by matters outside our reasonable control.
16. UK Delivery
Our current UK delivery options are:
Standard Delivery — FREE
Estimated delivery: 5–7 business days
Express Delivery — £12.90
Estimated delivery: 2–5 business days
The delivery options available to your particular address will be shown during checkout.
Delivery times are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless we expressly agree otherwise.
17. Delivery Address
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
Please review your delivery details carefully before completing your order.
If you discover an error after placing an order, contact Client Services as soon as possible.
We will try to assist, but we cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once the order has entered processing or has been dispatched.
18. Tracking
Once tracking becomes available for your order, tracking information will normally be sent to the email address associated with the order.
Tracking updates are provided by the relevant delivery service and may occasionally take time to appear after dispatch.
19. Delivery Problems
If your order appears to be significantly delayed, lost or delivered incorrectly, please contact Stalder & Reid Client Services with your order number.
We may need to investigate the delivery with the relevant carrier or fulfilment provider before determining the appropriate resolution.
Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights relating to delivery of goods.
20. Risk in the Goods
Risk of accidental loss or damage to goods generally passes to you when the goods are delivered into your physical possession, or into the possession of a person you have identified to receive them on your behalf, subject to applicable law.
21. Cancelling an Order Before Dispatch
If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, please contact Stalder & Reid Client Services as soon as possible:
clientservices@stalderandreid.com
We will do our best to stop the order before dispatch, but because most orders are prepared promptly, cancellation cannot be guaranteed once processing has begun.
If the order has already been dispatched, you may exercise any applicable return or cancellation rights in accordance with our Returns & Refund Policy and UK consumer law.
22. Your Right to Cancel an Online Purchase
UK consumers buying eligible goods online generally have a statutory right to cancel the purchase without giving a reason.
You may notify us of your decision to cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods.
After notifying us of cancellation, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Our voluntary 30-day returns policy provides additional time for eligible returns and does not replace, reduce or restrict your statutory rights.
23. 30-Day Returns Policy
In addition to your statutory rights, Stalder & Reid offers a 30-day returns policy for eligible products.
The detailed eligibility conditions, return procedure, return postage arrangements and refund process are set out in our Returns & Refund Policy.
Where our voluntary return policy differs from a statutory right, your statutory rights continue to apply.
24. Change-of-Mind Return Costs
For an eligible change-of-mind return under our returns policy, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the product to us.
We recommend using an appropriately tracked and insured return service, particularly for higher-value watches.
Where the return is required because the product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described and Stalder & Reid is responsible, applicable reasonable return costs will be handled in accordance with our Returns & Refund Policy and your statutory rights.
25. Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Where statutory cancellation rights apply, refunds will be processed within the applicable legal time limits.
Once a refund has been issued by us, your bank, card issuer or payment provider may require additional time to display it in your account.
26. Standard and Express Delivery Refunds
Standard UK Delivery is free, so there is no standard outbound delivery charge to refund.
If you chose Express Delivery at £12.90 and exercise a statutory change-of-mind cancellation, any delivery refund required by law is limited to the amount equivalent to our standard delivery service. Because Standard Delivery is free, the additional Express Delivery charge is not normally refundable for a change-of-mind cancellation.
Different rules may apply where the goods are faulty, incorrect, damaged or not as described.
27. Faulty, Damaged or Misdescribed Goods
We are under a legal duty to supply goods that conform to the contract.
Goods supplied to consumers must, where applicable, be:
- of satisfactory quality;
- fit for purpose; and
- as described.
If a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact Stalder & Reid Client Services.
Depending on the circumstances, you may have legal rights to a refund, repair or replacement.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions or in any commercial warranty limits your statutory consumer rights.
28. Warranty
Watches sold by Stalder & Reid include a Stalder & Reid warranty card providing two years of movement coverage.
Additional manufacturer warranty coverage may apply to particular watches where stated on the relevant product page or supplied documentation.
Warranty coverage, where applicable, is separate from and additional to your statutory rights.
A warranty does not remove or reduce any rights you may have under UK consumer law.
29. Warranty and After-Sales Claims
If you experience a problem with a watch, please contact Stalder & Reid Client Services and provide:
- your order number;
- the product or manufacturer reference;
- a description of the issue; and
- photographs or other information where reasonably requested.
We will provide appropriate instructions based on the nature of the issue and applicable warranty or statutory rights.
Please do not send a watch to our registered office or any other address without first receiving return instructions from Client Services.
30. Our Registered Office Is Not a Returns Address
Our registered office is:
Office 12 Initial Business Centre
Wilson Business Park
Manchester
United Kingdom
M40 8WN
This address should not be used for customer returns unless Stalder & Reid Client Services specifically instructs you to return an item there.
All returns must follow the instructions provided by Client Services or our Returns & Refund Policy.
31. Sale Items
Products purchased at a genuine reduced or promotional price have the same statutory consumer rights as products purchased at full price.
Eligible sale products may also be returned under our voluntary 30-day returns policy, subject to its stated conditions.
32. Personalised or Altered Products
Where we offer a product that has been personalised, engraved, resized or otherwise made to a customer's individual specification, different cancellation or return rules may apply where permitted by law.
Any such restriction will be clearly disclosed before you place the affected order.
This does not affect your rights where an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.
33. Customer Accounts
Where account functionality is available, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for taking reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access to your account.
Please contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
We may suspend or restrict an account where reasonably necessary to protect customers, prevent fraud, maintain website security or comply with legal requirements.
34. Acceptable Use of Our Website
You must not use stalderandreid.com:
- for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
- to attempt unauthorised access to our systems or customer accounts;
- to introduce malicious software, viruses or harmful code;
- to interfere with the operation or security of the website;
- to scrape, harvest or extract data unlawfully;
- to impersonate another person or organisation;
- to submit false payment or identity information; or
- to infringe the rights of Stalder & Reid or any third party.
35. Intellectual Property
The Stalder & Reid name, branding, website design, original text, graphics, layouts and other original materials on stalderandreid.com are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Third-party watch names, trademarks, logos, product photographs and other brand assets remain the property of their respective owners.
References to third-party brands on our website identify products that we retail and do not transfer ownership of those brands or intellectual property to Stalder & Reid.
You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, modify or commercially use protected website material without the permission of the relevant rights holder, except where applicable law permits otherwise.
36. Third-Party Services
Our website may rely on or provide access to third-party services such as:
- payment providers;
- delivery and tracking services;
- analytics services;
- social media platforms; and
- other ecommerce technologies.
These third parties may operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
Where a third party operates independently from Stalder & Reid, we are not responsible for the content or practices of that independent third-party service, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
37. Website Availability
We aim to keep stalderandreid.com available and functioning correctly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access at all times.
The website may occasionally be unavailable because of:
- maintenance;
- technical faults;
- security requirements;
- third-party service interruptions; or
- circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may update, modify or improve website functionality where reasonably necessary.
38. Our Responsibility to You
If we fail to comply with these Terms & Conditions, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of contract or our failure to use reasonable care and skill, subject to applicable law.
Loss or damage is foreseeable where it was obvious that it would happen or where, when the contract was formed, both you and we knew that it might happen.
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful.
In particular, nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- breach of rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted; or
- any other liability that cannot legally be limited.
39. Business Losses
Stalder & Reid primarily supplies products to consumers for personal use.
If you use products purchased from us for commercial, business or resale purposes, consumer protections may apply differently.
Nothing in this section affects rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
40. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
We will not be responsible for delay or failure to perform an obligation where the delay or failure results from circumstances outside our reasonable control, to the extent permitted by law.
Such circumstances may include:
- severe weather;
- transport disruption;
- carrier interruption;
- industrial action;
- natural disasters;
- government action;
- network or infrastructure failures;
- significant cyber incidents;
- public emergencies; or
- other comparable circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where such an event materially affects your order, we will take reasonable steps to keep you informed and fulfil our legal obligations.
41. Privacy
Personal information collected through your use of the website or in connection with an order is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Please review our Privacy Policy for information about:
- the information we collect;
- how and why we process it;
- the organisations with whom it may be shared;
- cookies and marketing technologies;
- international transfers;
- retention periods; and
- your data protection rights.
42. Communications
When you place an order, we may send transactional or service communications necessary to administer that order, including:
- order confirmation;
- payment or verification messages;
- dispatch confirmation;
- tracking information;
- delivery-related messages;
- return or refund communications; and
- warranty or after-sales correspondence.
Marketing communications are governed separately by applicable privacy and electronic marketing requirements and may be unsubscribed from where applicable.
43. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect:
- changes to our business or services;
- changes to website functionality;
- changes to operational procedures;
- changes to applicable law or regulation; or
- other legitimate business requirements.
The Terms & Conditions that apply to a purchase are normally those made available to you when your order is placed, except where a change is required by law or otherwise applies lawfully.
44. If Part of These Terms Is Invalid
If a court or other competent authority determines that any provision of these Terms & Conditions is unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
45. No Waiver
If Stalder & Reid does not immediately enforce a right or provision under these Terms & Conditions, this does not necessarily mean that the right or provision has been waived.
46. Third-Party Rights
Unless expressly stated otherwise, these Terms & Conditions are between you and Stalder & Reid.
No other person has a right to enforce a provision of these Terms & Conditions except where applicable law provides otherwise.
47. Governing Law and Courts
These Terms & Conditions and contracts made through stalderandreid.com are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory rights and protections available to you under the law applicable to your place of residence.
